First
of all, I must apologize for this late notice.
There was some miscommunication as to who
would be contacting you regarding our Steppin'
Out event on this evening. However, we did
assume that by not submitting the booking
agreement form that you would not be performing.
Nevertheless, I apologize for any inconvenience
that we may have caused. I was writing to
inform you that we would not be needing you
to perform on this evening. We certainly
appreciate your willingness to help us lift
up the name of Jesus, and we will keep you
in mind for future events. Thank you in advance
for your understanding. May God continue
to bless you and your ministry.
Now
you know the What behind the Why.
Time:
I have heard of “CP time.” However,
I get so frustrated sitting and waiting for
an event or program to start. I do my best
to get where I need to be before time, sometimes
from 3 hours away. Your Praise Team SHOULD
NOT sing 3 or more songs if the programs starts
20 to 30 minutes late. Let those who decide
to get there whenever, miss out. It’s
not fair to me; sometimes I have 2 or 3 bookings
in one day.
Directions:
Please don’t assume that I know how to
get to the church or place. I need detailed
directions with some landmarks, please. I will
always need the phone number and street address
of the place where I will be performing. If
you are my contact person and I only have home
number, that’s will not help me out,
if I am lost and you are not at home.
Honorarium:
Last but certainly not least, my honorarium.
I should not have to wait until the end of
service for it to get in my hand. People kill
me with, “are you ready to go?” Ready
or not, do what is right. If I can stay longer,
I will do so. When I put the mic down after
I am finished, put it in my hand, thanks. Am
I wrong to expect Christians to have integrity?
