My Godmothers

Mother Elizabeth Royster

She is such a sweet lady every time I talk to her. She is my godmother and one of the mothers at Cutts Chapel FWB in Angier. Mother Royster has shown me much love and support. I love her and thank God for her. When I go to her house, she always offers me something to eat. Thanks for those pork and beans with rice. ( some kinda good!)

Mother Roma Bellamy

I am so honored to add Mother Roma Bellamy of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivia to my website. She is inspiring, encouraging, a blessing, and a living legend to all. Why? At 96 she has been living alone since 1983 when her late husband, John Washington Bellamy died. She has a beautiful garden, plenty of chickens and flowers everywhere.

Born May 19, 1907, you can see her at church praising the Lord and having a good time. I visit her as often as I can. It is a blessing to sit and listen to Mother Bellamy talk about how good the Lord has been. When I asked her to tell me her three favorite songs, she said, "Have a Little Talk with Jesus , Amazing Grace, and Yield Not to Temptation.” She said, “Can I give you one more? Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross.” When I told her that she is loved by everyone, she said “I believe everyone loves me, if not, they sho’ got me fooled.”
